2022 Diversity in Tech Symposium: Advancing Climate Resilience

On March 10–11, the EDGE in Tech Initiative at UC will host the 2022 Diversity in Tech Symposium: Advancing Climate Resilience. Formerly called the Women in Tech Symposium, this year's event will continue to highlight the experiences of women, nonbinary and BIPOC leaders in climate tech, green tech and sustainable energy sectors, and to recognize those who have championed the advancement of women and other under-included populations in technology through the EDGE in Tech Athena Awards. The event will feature the experiences of experts working to advance innovation in clean energy, water conservation, food systems, disaster prediction, sustainable manufacturing and many other areas within their organizations.
One of the featured panels, Climate resilience and air quality: The One Health approach, will be hosted by one of the UC Davis Climate Adaptation Research Center Co-Directors, Dr. Michele Barbato, who is also the Director for the CITRIS Climate Initiative at UC Davis.
